Goodwin Adds Depth to Global Private Equity Platform with Partner Colin Carley in New York

Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Colin Carley joined the Private Equity practice as partner, resident in the New York office.

Carley’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions across a variety of industries, with extensive experience in the insurance and life sciences sectors. He advises clients in US and cross-border asset and stock acquisitions and divestitures, leveraged buyouts, strategic add-ons, equity financings, carveout transactions, restructurings, and general corporate matters.

Goodwin’s global Private Equity practice has grown substantially in the last 18 months with the arrival of Pavel Shaitanoff in New York; James Moriarty in New York and Santa Monica; Edwin Chan in Hong Kong; Jan Schinkothand Oded Shein in Germany; and James GrimwoodGeoff O’Dea, Hugh O’Sullivan, David Irvine, and Dulcie Daly in London.
