The Goodwin Technology and life sciences team advised Haventure, the robotics incubator and accelerator founded by serial entrepreneur and founder of over 20 companies, Stéphane Lavallée, in the fundraising and creation of Kyniska Robotics.
Kyniska was formed through the merger of three previously existing companies: KAT Robotics, LinkX Robotics, and Ostesys. These companies have been seed-funded by Haventure, along with investments from private holdings including 24 surgeons from Europe and North America.
Kyniska Robotics is a company specializing in surgical robotics, with a particular focus on sports medicine. The company develops innovative technologies aimed at improving the outcomes of surgical procedures for athletes and patients suffering from sports-related injuries.
The Goodwin team included Thomas Dupont-Sentilles, Ines Louguar and Johann Gandilhon on corporate aspects and Charles-Henri de Gouvion Saint-Cyr and Gauthier Pinabiaux on tax aspects.
