The Technology M&A and Public M&A teams advised Renesas Electronics Corporation (TSE:6723) on the completion of its acquisition of Transphorm, Inc. (Nasdaq: TGAN) in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $345 million. With the completion of the transaction, Renesas will immediately start offering GaN-based power products and related reference designs to meet the rising demand for wide bandgap semiconductor products.
