The Technology M&A and Public M&A teams advised Renesas Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723) on its definitive agreement to acquire Transphorm, Inc. (NASDAQ TGAN) in an all-cash transaction that values Transphorm at approximately $339 million.

Transphorm, a global leader in the GaN revolution, designs and manufactures high performance and high reliability GaN semiconductors for high voltage power conversion applications.
