The Private Investment Funds team advised Patron Capital on the closing of its most recent fund, Patron Capital, L.P. VI (‘Fund VI’), raising €844 million ($1.038 billion), including approximately €128 million ($157 million) of co-investment capital.
Patron is a pan-European institutional investor focused on property-backed investments.
Fund VI will continue the same investment strategy as Patron’s previous funds, opportunistically targeting distressed and undervalued investments, directly or indirectly related to property, across Western Europe. The fund will invest in individual properties across a range of sectors, as well as in property-backed corporate investments and credit opportunities
Patron Capital's General Counsel and Senior Partner Kendall Langford commented: “Patron Capital values long term relationships and the continuity afforded by working with the Goodwin team, led by Patrick Deasy, on consecutive funds. This has been extremely beneficial to Patron and we greatly appreciate all their efforts and support in this fund raise.”
The Goodwin team was led by Patrick Deasy and Alex Finlayson, with invaluable support from Glynn Barwick, Zachary Bonner, and Fergus Plant.
