The Private Equity team advised Bain Capital Tech Opportunities on leading BioCatch’s $145 million Series C investment.
Also joining the round are new investors including Industry Ventures as well as existing shareholders American Express Ventures, CreditEase, Maverick Ventures and OurCrowd, among others. The investment will accelerate BioCatch’s rapid growth, broaden its product offerings and further support its expanding client base into new verticals.
BioCatch pioneered behavioral biometrics, which analyzes an online user’s physical and cognitive digital behavior to protect users and their data. Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, the growth investing business of Bain Capital, aims to help growing technology companies reach their full potential and focuses on companies in large, growing end markets with innovative or disruptive technology.
