The Paris Private Equity team advised Cerea Partners, Société Générale Capital Partenaires and BNP Paribas Développement on the acquisition of a minority stake in Marbour, a group with key operations in both the food industry and environmental services.
Marbour is a leading producer and distributor of microwaveable cooked rice, supplying both private label and national brands across Europe.
This acquisition will accelerate growth in the agri-food sector by investing in new production facilities, all while preserving the Group's debt capacity. It also marks a leadership transition, as Sébastien Bourdillon takes over as Chairman from his father, Jean Bourdillon.
The Goodwin team was led by Thomas Dupont-Sentilles and included Benhouda Derradji and Pauline Louis on corporate aspects.
