The Goodwin Paris Private Investment Funds team advised Latour Capital, a French management company, and its founding partners, in relation to a minority investment from AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM), a French institutional investor, and Patria GPMS, an asset manager listed on the Nasdaq.
Following this transaction, the two investors will hold a minority shareholding in the company. The company will remain under the control of its two co-founders, Cédric Bannel and Philippe Léoni.
This transaction will enable Latour Capital to strengthen its institutional position and establish a stronger presence in Europe and internationally. The management company will be able to accelerate its growth and better support its portfolio companies in their development.
The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
The Goodwin team was led by Sarah Michel and included Maxime Hemled and Anabelle Cornillon on funds aspects, Thomas Dupont-Sentilles, Louis Jambu-Merlin and Marie-Laure Homolle d'Arras on corporate aspects, and Marie-Laure Bruneel on tax aspects.
