Louis Jambu-Merlin

Louis Jambu-Merlin is counsel in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group.

Louis specializes in M&A and private equity, advising investment funds, founders, and management teams on private equity transactions (LBOs). He also advises strategic players on both domestic and cross-border M&A, as well as joint ventures. Additionally, Louis supports the firm’s clients on a broad range of corporate law matters.

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Louis worked as an associate in the Paris office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

Louis’ recent experience includes advising:

• a consortium of new and existing investors comprised of IK Partners, Keensight Capital, Parquest Capital and GIC in the acquisition of the Unither group, a European pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization.
• Azulis Capital in its investment in the Advans group, a Franco-Serbian group specialized in mechanical and electronic engineering.
• MyFlower in the acquisition of Interflora Sweden, the French leader in floral delivery for over 75 years.
• Vulcain, the engineering group which specializes in energy transition and life sciences, in the acquisition of Infogene, a leading Managed Service Provider working with critical data and within complex regulatory environments in the health, industrial and tertiary sectors.
