The London and Cambridge Technology team advised Convergence AI on its $12 million pre-seed round led by Balderton Capital. Salesforce Ventures and Shopify Ventures also participated in the round.
Convergence is a UK AI startup founded in April 2024 by two machine learning engineers, Marvin Purtorab and Andy Toulis. Convergence is developing personal autonomous agents that can communicate with one another, acquiring skills in the same way a human might by giving it ‘long-term memory’.
Balderton is one of Europe’s leading multi stage venture capital investors, focused exclusively on European-founded technology companies. They invest in companies with the potential to disrupt huge industries and the ambition to scale globally.
