Goodwin hired partner Mark Beardsworth to lead its London global Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice on Monday (2 October). European Litigation practice head Oliver Glynn-Jones said in a statement to CDR: “As we continue to deepen our disputes platform, bringing in a partner with Mark’s reputation and capability within the investigations and enforcement space to spearhead and develop our work in that area further bolsters our comprehensive disputes offering in London.” The firm also promoted 40 lawyers to partner level across its offices, including Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution lawyers John Barker, Gerard Cedrone and Cecelia Lockner in Boston, Katherine Cheng, Elliot Silver and Tierney Smith in Washington, DC, Nicole Chessari in Silicon Valley, and Amanda Russo in Los Angeles.
