Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Joshua Cook has rejoined the San Francisco office as a partner in its market-leading Technology practice. Joshua was previously a partner in the firm’s Technology practice for four years, prior to joining Proof Holdings as President in 2022.
“Josh is a highly skilled lawyer in the emerging companies space. The experience and insights he gained during his time at Proof leading operations, finance and strategy will be tremendously beneficial to our global practice, as we continue to support our clients in the rapidly evolving technology landscape,” said Anthony McCusker, co-chair of Goodwin’s Technology practice. “We are thrilled to welcome Josh back to Goodwin.”
Joshua specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies, venture capital firms, and private equity investment funds. His work spans the entire corporate lifecycle, including strategic decisions and coaching prior to incorporation, prospective investor introductions, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, employment matters, commercial contracts, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
“I am extremely grateful for my time at Proof. As the company continues to diversify its portfolio of NFT artists and blockchain capabilities, I look forward to continuing the partnership at Goodwin,” said Joshua Cook. “Goodwin’s technology and emerging companies capabilities, particularly in the Web3 space, will be immensely beneficial to my clients. I am excited to rejoin the firm.”
