Edward Saunders, who returned to Goodwin in November as a fund finance partner in the firm's Private Equity practice in London, says he enjoys working with sophisticated clients to find and develop innovative solutions and new products. Especially the technical details. "I love the techie stuff," he tells The Deal. "It may not be the coolest thing to say, but I kind of geek out on fund finance," he says, with a big grin. "Being able to offer clients a real solution to liquidity concerns, or being able to work with clients to offer them something which allows them to go out and innovate in how they deploy the money and how they manage their business is great."
