Goodwin’s large and rapidly growing Private Equity Healthcare team advised Webster Equity Partners and its portfolio company Santa Monica Fertility on the acquisition of Newborn Advantage Surrogacy.
Webster Equity Partners is a private equity firm that partners with healthcare service companies with a focus on high impact growth strategies based on delivering the highest quality care and exceptional service. Goodwin advised Webster on the 2019 acquisition of Santa Monica Fertility, a leading provider of vertically integrated reproductive services offering egg donation, surrogacy and IVF, through a vertically integrated model. The acquisition of Newborn Advantage Surrogacy follows Webster’s plan to create a full spectrum of services around fertility.
The Goodwin team was led by John LeClaire, Janet Andolina, and Matthew Hacker.
Goodwin also recently advised Webster on the formation of Retina Consultants of America through the concurrent acquisitions of five preeminent retina specialty practices, and the formation of One GI, a gastroenterology management services organization, through a partnership with a 30-physician and 10-site GI practice.
