Global law firm Goodwin announced today that Harry Ghillemyn has joined the firm’s Financial Restructuring practice as counsel in the Luxembourg office.
Ghillemyn represents a wide range of clients on banking and capital markets mandates, with a particular focus on fund finance, real estate finance, banking regulatory matters, securitization and listing of debt securities. He also advises clients on complex cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, including security enforcement, and is a member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy (INSOL).
“We are delighted to welcome Harry to Goodwin and extend our European finance and restructuring capabilities to Luxembourg,” said Alexandrine Armstrong-Cerfontaine, head of Goodwin’s Luxembourg practice. “Harry’s experience handling complex restructuring and insolvency matters, fund finance and securitization transactions across a broad range of industries will be a tremendous resource to our growing global client base and cross-border teams. His addition is the next step in the continued build out of our Luxembourg practice as we broaden our platform in the Grand Duchy in line with client demand.”
Ghillemyn’s arrival comes during an expansive period for Goodwin in Europe. The firm’s offices in London, Cambridge, Frankfurt, Paris and Luxembourg have grown to over 220 lawyers in total, with deep industry experience in private equity, technology, life sciences and real estate.
