Goodwin Named to Global Restructuring Review’s GRR 100 for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Global Restructuring Review has once again recognized Goodwin as a top firm in the 2024 edition of the GRR 100. The annual guide recognizes the world's leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.

GRR 100 praised the practice’s ability to advise a “range of parties on all sides of restructuring and insolvency cases, handling complex middle-market restructurings and distressed opportunities.” It also noted the firm’s standout work successfully representing Madison Pacific Trust, Kroll, Telegraph and Spectator Media Group, and Aggregate.

Lawyers highlighted by GRR include Michael Goldstein, Chair of Goodwin's Financial Restructuring practice, as well as Simon Thomas and Geoff O’Dea in London, and Daniel Glosband, Howard Steel, and Stacy Dasaro in New York. It also noted the impactful addition of partners Debora Hoehne and Robert Lemons, who joined the firm in 2023.

Goodwin’s full-service, global Financial Restructuring team works with borrowers, lenders, acquirers and committees of creditors across global jurisdictions to implement transactional solutions, acquisitions and litigation strategies that produce successful results. Goodwin’s lawyers help clients with the most complex high profile, middle-market restructurings and distressed opportunities. As both negotiators and litigators, they represent every type of major stakeholder in troubled companies and investment funds or vehicles.

In addition to this recognition, Goodwin’s Financial Restructuring practice has been routinely recognized for excellence by leading market commentators such as The Legal 500 United States, Chambers UK, The Legal 500 France, and Chambers Europe.

Now in its eighth edition, the GRR 100 2024 is the product of extensive research covering over 150 firms and 40 jurisdictions worldwide.
