A partner in Goodwin’s Technology group, Pat Mitchell practices in the areas of venture capital, growth equity, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He regularly counsels growth-stage companies in industries ranging from software, hardware, artificial intelligence, healthcare technology and ecommerce. He represents several leading technology investment funds in connection with acquisitions, portfolio investments and matters relating to their portfolio companies.
Pat has been recognized in Chambers USA as a local and national leader in its Private Equity: Venture Capital Investment and Startups & Emerging Companies practice area categories every year since 2007.
Pat maintains an active pro bono practice, and is a founding board member of Embrace Boston, a Boston-based racial justice organization promoting arts and culture, community, and research and policy.
