Partners Lori Gordon and Jonathan Shapiro have been named 2024 BTI Client Service All-Stars. Gordon is a partner in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation group, where she focuses intensively on inter partes matters, including more than 260 contested case proceedings in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). She has been a leader in PTAB trials since their inception in 2012, and has participated in some of the very first such trials. In addition to her PTAB experience, she has handled more than a dozen district court litigations.
Shapiro is a partner in the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, and is focused on securities litigation, government enforcement actions and commercial litigation. He has expertise in a wide range of securities matters, including class actions, securities fraud and M&A litigation. He has litigated class actions, challenges to corporate transactions and governance, and other matters regarding allegations of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, including jury and bench trials.
