Global law firm Goodwin announced today the relocation of its Singapore office to the prestigious Singapore Land Tower.
Singapore Land Tower is strategically located in the central business district, Raffles Place, and is undergoing a significant refurbishment. Slated for completion by Q1 2025, the renovated tower will feature new tenant amenities such as end-of-trip facilities, communal spaces, including a podium roof garden and a rooftop space with a gallery and viewing deck, and a 200-seater auditorium for events. Sustainability plays a key role in the remodeling with the building seeking to achieve Green Mark Platinum, the highest level of certification under the Green Mark Certification Scheme.
“The office move is part of Goodwin’s ongoing commitment to expand its presence and enhance its services to clients in the region.” said Gregory Barclay, Chair of the Singapore office. “Singapore’s continued position as one of the key international hubs for the private capital industry, and our leading market position advising within it, has driven our need for larger premises with the resources and environment our team needs to continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.”
Located on the 31st floor of Singapore Land Tower with views of Marina Bay, Goodwin’s new office design provides a collaborative environment, with space for mothers and wellness, client hospitality and conferencing and networking events.
Goodwin’s Singapore office, which opened in October 2022, serves clients raising, deploying and lending capital in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world. The office is a part of the firm’s full-service Asia practice, which advises clients across the private equity, technology, life sciences, financial services and real estate industries, and where these industries intersect.
The Singapore move follows the firm’s recent relocation of its Luxembourg office to the Royal Park, and its London office to new premises on iconic Paternoster Square due to continued growth. Goodwin’s global footprint has expanded across three continents over the past two years with the opening of new offices in Munich (April 2022) and Philadelphia (January 2023).
