Goodwin's German Real Estate team advised KanAm Grund Group on the acquisition of a logistics project in the A27park in Walsrode in northern Germany. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Construction of a goods and services center with several building sections is scheduled to begin on the site this year, which is leased to a public sector tenant on a long-term basis. Furthermore, the logistics project has a comprehensive sustainability concept and is aiming for DGNB Platinum certification. It fits seamlessly into KanAm Group's existing logistics portfolio.
The seller of the logistics project, which is to be realized on an approximately 9-hectare site with a gross floor area of 60,000 m², is a joint venture comprising logistics specialist KELLERGROUP, Ruppmann Investment GmbH and Tobias Fischer Grundstück und Beteiligungs GmbH in cooperation with Schwäbische Wohnungs AG.
KanAm Grund Group is an internationally active one-stop store for real estate with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and other locations in Europe and Atlanta. Since its founding, the company has moved a transaction volume of over 30 billion Euro and manages over 7 billion Euro in investor funds.
