Goodwin’s Frankfurt office opened in 2016 with a specific focus on the real estate, private equity, and financial industries, including all tax aspects thereof. Since then, we have further expanded Goodwin’s presence in Frankfurt and added teams for private investment funds, venture capital, and M&A. Our Frankfurt teams are among the leading legal teams in the European markets, and many of our lawyers have worked together for nearly a decade or more. Today, the Frankfurt office is a one-stop shop for premium real estate, private equity, and venture capital investments, as well as the restructuring and financing of such investments. We offer services in German and English and advise clients on all aspects of the investment life cycle and, of course, all related tax matters. We work closely with lawyers based in the firm’s European offices and throughout our global network to provide clients with seamless service across a spectrum of sophisticated and mid- to large-scale transactions.
