Richard Wyner is Goodwin’s Deputy General Counsel. He was a partner of the firm from 2004-2021, specializing in complex litigation, and was a partner at Shea & Gardner from 1989 through its merger with Goodwin in 2004. From 1991 through 1992, he served as a Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Education under then-Secretary Lamar Alexander. At Harvard Law School, he was an Editor and Notes Office Chair on the Harvard Law Review.
