Simon Servan-Schreiber is a partner in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group.
His practice primarily focuses on representing private equity sponsors in their transactional matters on both the buy-side and sell-side.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2016, Simon worked as an associate in the Paris office of King & Wood Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin), and previously practiced in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins. He was named partner in October 2023.
Simon oversees the Pro Bono program in Paris.

- The founders of Armen in its creation and structuration as a European leader of GP stakes transactions.
- B & Capital in the acquisition of Hubency, environmental service provider intended to specialize in delegate waste management.
- Crédit Mutuel Equity, Bpifrance, and the founder of Dupont Restauration, one of the leaders in contract catering primarily operating in France, on the sale of the group to Compass Group.
- Equistone in the acquisition of Sicame, a global supplier of electrical connectors and accessories to electricity distributors, by a continuation fund led by AlpInvest.
- Eurazeo in the sale of Péters Surgical, a leading global provider of specialty surgical sutures, to Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc.
- Experienced Capital in the sale of Sessùn, a ready-made clothing line with an urban and delicately feminine touch, to Quadrivio group.
- Lion Capital in the sale of their stake in the Picard Group, a French company specializing in the retail sale of frozen food products to Group Zouari.
- Picard group, a French company specializing in the retail sale of frozen food products, in the refinancing of its existing debt.
- Sagard in the acquisition of Synov, a leader in the design and manufacturing of custom made electronic systems.
