Regardless of the client, he crafts collaborative solutions that bring clarity and create value. He has successfully piloted domestic and cross-border transactions through a labyrinth of jurisdictional and regulatory hurdles. He has worked through the intricacies of establishing a mainland China joint venture and closed deals ranging in value from $4.5 million to $67 billion, the largest pure technology deal to date.

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Daniel was an associate in the Silicon Valley offices of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Daniel began his legal career as an associate in the Toronto office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP.
