Michael T. Jones

Mike Jones is a partner in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group. 

Michael’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private equity investments, strategic transactions, and other general corporate matters in a broad range of industries. Specifically, he has experience in representing private equity firms, portfolio companies, and other privately held companies in structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing private mergers, acquisitions, and sale transactions. Michael also advises clients on a variety of corporate matters, including growth equity financings, equity compensation matters, recapitalizations, and other general corporate and governance matters. Michael joined Goodwin in 2016. 

Michael is a member of the Boston Bar Association.

Michael was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2015. While in law school, Michael was a senior editor on the Boston College Law Review.
