Goodwin has hired a career antitrust litigation attorney, who told Law360 Pulse in an interview that she wanted to bring her practice focused on healthcare and life sciences clients to a platform rife with industry expertise. Alexandra Russell is Goodwin's newest partner, joining the team in D.C. to work with healthcare and life sciences clients on antitrust matters. Russell told Law360 Pulse that Goodwin had a world-class life sciences platform, which aligned perfectly with her practice litigating antitrust matters for pharmaceutical, life sciences and other clients. "My practice … is really focused on complex antitrust cases, class actions, multidistrict litigation, big, complex cases with lots of moving parts," Russell said. "I also do some commercial litigation work for my clients and that again is very much focused on class actions as well as some restructuring work for major pharma companies as well as energy companies."
