Rising Stars: Goodwin Tabs Septet for Partner in M&A, PE, Antitrust (The Deal)

Goodwin on Tuesday, Oct. 1, said it's elected 35 lawyers to the firm's partnership, including Samuel Beavers, Brady P. P. Cummins, Matthew Giannascoli, Mark Joseph, Tal Maman, Trey O’Callaghan and Devin Spencer. Beavers is a partner in Goodwin’s internationally recognized Life Sciences group and specializes in complex transactions including M&A, venture capital financings and joint ventures for companies at all stages of development. Cummins is a partner in Goodwin’s Antitrust and Competition practice. He advises clients on all aspects of antitrust issues related to M&A. Giannascoli is a partner in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group. He focuses primarily on M&A, venture capital and growth equity transactions, with an emphasis on private equity sponsors. Joseph is a partner in the Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. He focuses on private equity transactions, including M&A and leveraged buyouts. Maman is a partner in Goodwin’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. She focuses on growth equity investments, VC financings and M&A transactions, as well as general corporate matters. O'Callaghan is a partner in the Business Law Department and a member of the Technology group. He focuses on M&A and representing startup and later-stage companies throughout their corporate life cycle. Spencer is a partner in the firm’s Private Equity Group.
