The Goodwin Paris Private Investment Funds team advised Cerea Partners, the investor-partner of the food & beverage universe companies, on the fundraising of Cerea Mezzanine IV, for a total amount of €300 million.
At €300 million, the Cerea Mezzanine IV fund exceeds its predecessor by 50%, confirming investor interest in the 4th vintage of Cerea Partners' mezzanine funds.
This round is mainly made up of institutional investors (banks, insurance companies...) but also includes a number of family offices.
On the back of a successful fundraising, the Cerea Mezzanine IV fund has had a very active first year and has already made nine strategic investments, including four companies that Cerea Partners has been supporting for many years, a guarantee of its long-term partnership approach.
The Goodwin team was led by Sarah Michel and included Marie-Laure Bruneel on tax aspects and Adrien Paturaud on financing aspect.
