Nine months after launching a Philadelphia office, law firm Goodwin has signed a lease to become the lead tenant at a new mixed-used tower at Schuylkill Yards. “We're really excited because it's really what we think is the up-and-coming area of Philadelphia,” said Rachael Bushey, co-chair of Goodwin’s Philadelphia office, to Philadelphia Business Journals. “There's a lot of new life sciences companies going there and it's really just a hot area that will attract a lot of talent and allow us to be close to our clients.” Fellow co-chair of Goodwin’s Philadelphia office Barbara Shander said being next to 30th Street Station is attractive because attorneys can easily get to other Goodwin offices in Washington, D.C., and New York. Clients from those cities can also visit Philadelphia easily. Ultimately, the location and the brand-new building “checked the most boxes.”
