The London and Cambridge Technology team advised international venture firm Index Ventures on its investment into Bigger Games, as part of a $6 million seed funding round. Index Ventures, which has a record of backing game companies like Supercell, King, Roblox, and Discord, led the seed round. Pre-seed round investor Play Ventures and Unity founder David Helgason also participated.
Founded in 2019, Bigger Games is an Istanbul-based mobile gaming company and says its games have already been downloaded over 75 million times. With the new investment, the company will focus on creating and distributing more games, as well as growing the team, primarily in product and marketing.
The Goodwin team was led by Adam Thatcher with assistance from Gretchen Scott and Rachel Thurbon.
