On April 30, 2024, Search Funds Group Principal Monica Kwok joined a panel of Berkeley Haas alumni and Goodwin clients as a legal expert for a private panel on real world Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA) experiences.
The event, held by the rapidly growing Berkeley Haas ETA Club, brought together Haas alumni and MBA students involved or seeking to be involved in the search fund community.
Monica has significant experience representing search fund clients in all phases of the search fund lifecycle, including fund formation, fundraising, acquisitions, ongoing operations, and beyond. She also partners with investors, entrepreneurs and executives on strategic and milestone transactions.
“It is a pleasure to support our clients and the greater Berkeley Haas ETA community. Early stage searchers are particularly inspiring given the high-octane energy required to raise, form and launch a fund. I look forward to a highly engaging and educational session,” said Monica.
In addition to her robust search fund practice, Monica represents traditional private equity sponsors with respect to leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
