Elena Hera

Elena Hera is a partner in the ESG & Impact Practice and Public Company Advisory & Capital Markets Practice.

Elena advises clients on a wide variety of ESG issues, including mandatory and voluntary reporting, regulatory compliance, ESG governance, development of ESG policies and procedures, anti-ESG considerations, fund formation and marketing, and ESG due diligence.

Elena also serves as ongoing corporate and securities counsel for a diverse group of publicly traded companies, including real estate investment trusts (medical, residential, hospitality, office and retail). She regularly counsels clients on SEC and stock exchange compliance, and corporate governance matters. Elena has represented issuers and investment banks in connection with IPOs, registered equity and debt offerings, private placements, debt tender and exchange offers, and ATM offerings.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Elena was an associate in the Public Company Representation and Capital Markets group of Latham & Watkins LLP.
