Benjamin Halper is an associate in the firm’s Complex Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. Ben’s practice focuses primarily on state and federal level complex business litigation involving commercial matters such as post-closing disputes and corporate governance related issues for financial services institutions, private equity firms, and technology companies. Ben also maintains an active practice handling white collar criminal defense and investigation matters.
Experience
Ben’s recent matters include:
- Defending a payment technology company in a breach of contract and fraud commercial dispute which resulted in a complete arbitration victory for company
- Defending an asset manager in a breach of contract and tortious interference commercial dispute which resulted in a significant arbitration award for company
- Defending an employee at a technology company in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation in which the SEC declined to pursue an enforcement action
- Representing a financial services institution in a complex post-closing dispute in Delaware state court that resulted in a favorable settlement for company
- Representing a crypto-currency company and public technology company responding to subpoenas from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice
