Ora Grinberg

Ora Grinberg is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and Tax practice. Ms. Grinberg focuses on U.S. corporate and international taxation, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. She represents buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions. She regularly represents serial acquirers and has extensive experience advising on sophisticated corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Grinberg was most recently Counsel at Fenwick & West in the tax practice group and Chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Review Committee.

Ms. Grinberg taught International Tax Law at University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She is also a member of the State Bar of California Taxation Section, the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Ms. Grinberg serves as the Women of IFA Network (WIN) Regional Leader for Northern California.

Ms. Grinberg was awarded the inaugural Euromoney’s Americas Rising Stars Award for Best in Tax and Tax Disputes in 2019 and 2018. She also appears in Euromoney’s 2019, 2018 and 2017 Expert Guides: Rising Stars, in the Tax category. Ms. Grinberg is also recognized by California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2020, 2019 and 2018.
