Daniel P. Griffith

Daniel Griffith is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Real Estate Industry group. Mr. Griffith represents clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including complex joint venture arrangements, restructurings, mortgage, construction and mezzanine financings representing both borrowers and lenders, and asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Griffith also advises real estate investment funds in structuring subscription secured credit facilities.

Mr. Griffith is a member of the Boston Bar Association.

Mr. Griffith’s experience includes the representation of real estate investment funds, REITs, institutional investors, and other owners and operators of real estate in transactions that span a range of asset classes. Highlights of his recent work include representation of:

• A nationally recognized real estate investment management company in the formation and administration of a programmatic joint venture in the Boston area.
• A nationally recognized real estate investment management company in the formation and administration of a programmatic joint venture in the Austin, Texas area.
• A nationally recognized real estate investment management and property management company in several acquisitions, dispositions and financings across the country.
• A nationally recognized lender in origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans for properties located in New York and Washington D.C.
• Several fund sponsors in negotiation and administration of subscription secured credit facilities.
