Anna Setyaeva is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department. She joined Goodwin in 2023.
Professional Activities
Anna was a Summer Associate at Goodwin in 2022. In law school, Anna served as a student-attorney with the UC Irvine International Justice Clinic. In this capacity, she conducted research and drafted reports and court documents on dual use technologies, export control regimes, and human rights. She was a law clerk at Immigrant Defenders Law Center and helped asylum seekers and individuals facing removal proceedings. Her volunteer work with Bet Tzedek involved supporting Holocaust survivors in seeking reparations. Prior to law school, Anna served as a research and teaching assistant at UC Irvine.

Recognition & Awards
While in law school, Anna served as a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International, Transnational and Comparative Law and participated as an Oralist in the Philip Jessup International Law moot court competition. Anna’ received awards for her pro bono work from the Association of American Law Schools and the UC Irvine School of Law.
