Alex is an associate in Goodwin’s London office and member of the Employment practice.
Alex advises clients on the range of employment issues, including all aspects of corporate disposals and acquisitions, employee transfers, discrimination and harassment claims, negotiating senior executives’ terms of employment and exits, restrictive covenant and confidentiality breach actions and unfair dismissals.
Alex has experience advising clients in a variety of sectors, including mining, government, energy and resources, life sciences, transport and logistics, not-for-profit, and banking and finance.

- Advising a technology company in Employment Tribunal proceedings involving unfair dismissal and discrimination allegations
- Advising a pharmaceutical company on large-scale redundancy and restructuring matters
- Advising on breach of post-employment obligations and enforceability of restrictive covenants in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors
- Several life sciences companies – advising on various employment aspects of corporate acquisitions
- Advising a mining entity in relation to employment issues at various gold and coal mines, including collective bargaining*
- Advising a global logistics company in breach of contract proceedings*
- Advising on transfer of business matters in the mining and banking sectors*
- Advising a Government entity on various employment issues relating to a >$6B project*
