Manuel E. Lauredo

Manny Lauredo is a partner in Goodwin’s Real Estate Industry business unit and Real Estate Joint Ventures and Private Investment Funds practices. On the funds side, Manny advises on the formation and operation of onshore and offshore opportunistic and income-oriented real estate funds and co-investment vehicles. On the investment side, Manny advises on all aspects of transactional real estate, including the representation of private and institutional investors, developers and lenders in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, management and financing of office, residential, retail, hotel and industrial properties. Manny regularly represents private funds and managers, REITs, institutional and tax-exempt investors in connection with structuring and restructuring complex debt and equity investments, including mezzanine financings, preferred equity and joint ventures. Manny’s experience in transactional real estate has included a broad array of programmatic and series joint ventures, operating platforms and direct investments in single assets and large real estate portfolios across traditional (e.g., office, retail, residential, hospitality) and specialized asset classes (e.g., manufactured housing, senior living, life sciences, distressed debt and food-related distribution).

Prior to joining Goodwin, Manny was counsel at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in the firm’s Real Estate group. Previously, he was counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.
