Michael Gomez

Mike Gomez is an associate in the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences groups. Mr. Gomez advises founders, emerging growth companies, and venture capital funds on corporate and transactional matters, including formations, financings and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Gomez represents start-ups and late-stage companies across their entire corporate life-cycle. His practice focuses on representing emerging growth companies in general corporate counseling, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents venture capital funds and strategic investors in transactions from seed through growth stage.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Gomez was an associate at Mayer Brown LLP’s Chicago and Palo Alto offices and a legal intern to the Honorable Patricia A. Seitz of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gomez was a high school Social Studies teacher in Miami, FL.
