Benjamin Filiatre is counsel in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. He advises clients on matters regarding leveraged acquisition finance and corporate finance, as well as equity bridge financing.
Benjamin advises banks, debt funds, sponsors, and borrowers on a wide range of transactions, including leveraged, corporate, and cross-over financings, as well as debt restructurings. He has also developed significant expertise in fund financing.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2016, Benjamin practiced at Shearman & Sterling.

Benjamin’s recent experience includes advising:
- Capza in the financing of the MBO of Efor, a provider of consultation services intended for relating to the quality and regulatory functions in the healthcare sector.
- EMZ Partners, a leading European investment firm specialized in upper-mid cap flex equity, on their tenth fund, EMZ 10, with €1.4 billion of commitments.
- Iliad Holding, in the financing of the acquisition of circa 19.8% of the share capital of Tele2, one of the leaders in the Swedish and Baltics telecom markets, by iliad Group and NJJ holding from Kinnevik.
- LGT Capital Partners and Bank of Ireland in the refinancing of the Anaveo group, a company that specializes in the conception, integration, installation and the maintenance of electronic security solutions and leads the industry in France.
- Parquest Capital in the acquisition of a majority stake in Amelkis, a leading provider of financial consolidation and reporting software solutions.
- TA Associates and Montagu Private Equity in the financing of the acquisition of Harvest France, the leading French provider of front-office wealth management software solutions for the wealth management industry.
