Arturo Cruz is an associate in the firm's Private Equity Industry group. He focuses his practice on the representation of alternative asset managers in the formation and structuring of private equity and other private investment fund vehicles. In addition to fund formation, Mr. Cruz also advises sponsors on operational, regulatory, governance, and other ongoing matters.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Cruz interned at Greater Boston Legal Services, helping elders with their housing and social security benefits, and was involved in the Boston University Civil Litigation Clinic, helping represent low-income clients with family law, housing, and unemployment benefits matters. In addition, he was an editor of the Boston University Law Review and served as an extern at the Boston University Office of the General Counsel.
