Natalie S. Chaudhury is a senior attorney in Goodwin’s Tax-Exempt Organizations practice as well as the firm’s Trusts & Estate Planning practice. She joined the firm in 2020.
Natalie focuses her practice on tax-exempt organizations and advises such organizations on formation and tax-exemption applications, governance structures and board matters, tax-exemption compliance, domestic and international grantmaking, lobbying and political campaign activities and various corporate transactions. She counsels public charities, private and company foundations, higher education institutions and advocacy organizations on a full range of tax, corporate and transactional matters. Natalie’s estate planning practice focuses on advising high net worth individuals and families on various aspects of estate planning with a particular emphasis on charitable giving and other forms of philanthropy.

Before joining Goodwin, Natalie interned at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division and volunteered as a tax preparer at ABCD in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Prior to legal practice, Natalie was the Program Manager at the Barbara Lee Family Foundation and Barbara Lee Political Office for many years where she encouraged and advised women to run for all levels of public office.
