Jason A. Benitez is an associate in the firm’s Trusts & Estate Planning practice. He advises individuals, families, and fiduciaries on all aspects of estate planning and probate and trust administration. His estate planning practice focuses on the implementation of sophisticated strategies to provide for the management and preservation of wealth, including through the minimization of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Jason also advises fiduciaries, including personal representatives and trustees, on the administration of estates and trusts.

Jason is a member of the Boston Bar Association and its Trusts and Estates section. Jason is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Trusts and Estates Law section.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Goodwin, Jason was an associate in the Private Wealth group at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in New York.
While attending law school, Jason interned at two international law firms in New York City. Jason was also Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law and Recruitment Chair of the Latino Law Student Association. He also volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project, assisting individuals and families seeking resettlement in the United States.
