Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Names Kevin Martin a 2024 Go To Lawyer for Business Litigation

Goodwin partner Kevin Martin has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Go To Lawyer: Business Litigation for 2024. Since 2020, Go To Lawyers has showcased the leaders in the Massachusetts legal community across practice areas.

Co-Chair of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice, Martin has argued and briefed nearly 40 cases in federal and state appellate courts across the country, and has extensive experience in both trial matters and internal and government investigations. 

Martin regularly appears in the federal Courts of Appeals for various circuits, particularly the Federal and the First Circuit, and has briefed numerous merits cases before the US Supreme Court, where he previously served as a clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia. His appellate experience also includes more than a dozen arguments before the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court. In addition to his appellate practice, Martin regularly represents clients in federal and state trial courts and before administrative agencies.

Martin is routinely recognized by The Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer for Appellate, and by Benchmark Litigation as a Litigation Star in Massachusetts for Appellate work. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Energy Law and Litigation – Environment, and has been named to the National Law Journal’s list of Political Activism/1st Amendment Rights Trailblazers.
