The Goodwin Secondaries team advised StepStone Group (“StepStone”) as the lead investor in a GP-led led continuation fund, in which a newly established investment vehicle formed by Gemspring Capital Management, LLC (“Gemspring”) acquired interests in Shrieve Chemical Company (the “Company”). The transaction, and a concurrent refinancing of the Company’s debt facilities, is expected to provide follow-on capital to support the Company’s organic growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
The Goodwin team was led by Krishna Skandakumar and included Zac Davidson, Luca Del Ciotto, Jackson Slaughter, Zach Lupu and Andrew Antoun with transactional support provided from Romina Weiss, Matt Dunay, Erika Pey, Ai Tajima, Malhar Naik, Kevin Walsh, and Paul Jin.
