The London Technology team advised Fractile on its $15 million seed financing, led by Kindred Capital, the NATO Innovation Fund, and Oxford Sciences Enterprises. Also participating were Inovia Capital and Cocoa, as well as prominent angel investors and alumni of AI and semiconductor companies.
Founded in 2022, Fractile is a British startup that develops chips for AI applications. Having just emerged from operating in stealth, Fractile will use the funding to pursue a radical, new chip and system design that differs markedly from the graphics processing units (GPUs) that are currently available on the market, most notably Nvidia’s GPU, as well as the software stack to run cutting-edge workloads on this hardware.
The Goodwin team was led by Adam Thatcher and Ben Taylor.
