Our Paris Technology team advised Fidelity International Strategic Ventures on its investment in the $52 million Series B financing of Greenly, a carbon accounting & management platform for SMEs.
In addition to Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, this round included new investors Benhamou Global Ventures, Move Capital, HP Enterprise and HSBC and historic investors XAnge and Energy Impact Partners.
Founded in 2019, Greenly makes carbon accounting easy and intuitive, helping businesses track and measure their carbon emissions in order to accelerate their transition to a net-zero carbon economy. Their Climate Academy also supports organizations’ need to build in-house climate expertise, offering certification programs for managers on broad climate strategies, as well as specialized knowledge in legal compliance, detailed accounting methodologies, and sector-specific eco-design.
This financing will allow Greenly to extend its global reach to become the global reference in carbon management.
The Goodwin team was led by Thomas Dupont-Sentilles and included Louis Taslé d’Héliand and Inès Louguar on corporate aspects and Marie Fillon and Louis de Chezelles on IP aspect.
