California Advisory Board: Andrew Ong is a partner in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice and a leader of the firm’s Trade Secrets, Employee Mobility & Non-Competes group based in Silicon Valley. He focuses his practice on complex intellectual property issues, encompassing patent disputes and trade-secret litigation. He has extensive experience in litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as proceedings by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He works with others at Goodwin to publish monthly articles in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal to provide regular updates on recent California appellate court rulings as well as issues that may be of interest to California-based general counsel.
Media & Entertainment Advisory Board: Neel Chatterjee is a partner in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property practice and formerly served on the firm’s Executive Committee. An internationally recognized technology litigator and trial lawyer, Chatterjee has a proven track record of wins in hard-to-win technology cases. He has a passion for representing entrepreneurs and disruptive technology companies, even at their earliest stages, and his cases often break new ground in undefined areas of the law. Chatterjee has been at the forefront of the new media entertainment industry and has a long history of advising high-profile parties in multi-million dollar disputes.
Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory Board: David Bernstein is a counsel in Goodwin’s Real Estate Industry group who specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities transactions, and corporate governance. He has been the lead lawyer on a wide variety of transactions involving acquisitions or sales of publicly traded companies and acquisitions by European and Asian clients of companies in the US. He has also acted as a regular advisor to the Boards of Directors of New York Stock Exchange-listed and other publicly traded companies.
