The 200 largest law firms in the world, made up mainly of U.S. firms, saw growth slow in the latest fiscal year, with some regions out-performing others. The Global 200 grew revenue by 1.2% between FY 2021 and FY 2022, while head count grew an average of 6.1%. Goodwin ranked number 18th. Rob Insolia, the firm's chair, said to Law.com, "From our standpoint, to be a dominant player, you need a dominant presence internationally." Insolia says: "I don't think there's ever been a period that has been so hot, and then cooled down so quickly."
