Goodwin is adding partners to its Private Investment Funds practice in Boston. Nicole Peppe and Luke Bagley are joining Goodwin as venture capital investing and M&A deals, especially in the technology space, are starting to pick up after more than a year of sluggishness. “We are definitely seeing a pickup and we have for the last couple of months,” said Ken Gordon, co-chair of the Technology practice in an interview with Bloomberg Law. “The firm’s strategic focus on formation as well as complementary practices such as technology, life sciences, venture capital and private equity, made joining Goodwin such an easy choice,” said Peppe. “Goodwin’s focus on the tech and life sciences spaces from a strategic perspective makes this a really ideal opportunity for us to integrate our clients into that platform and to build the dominant fund formation practice in the tech space,” Bagley said.
